Live Channels enable you to stream video directly from your computer or any connected camera. Following 5 simple steps, you can connect your encoder to your Zidivo account, choose your preferred player and grab your embed code for your website.
This is where you generate your publishing points. You should copy/paste these exactly as they are into your encoder settings. Select your preferred encoder from the dropdown for more specific instructions for some popular encoders.

These settings limit who can view your channel and are used when you want to control who can watch your stream or where it can be displayed. In most cases, and if you're unsure, these can be left blank.
IPs - Here you can add multiple IPs (one per line) that can view your content, all others will be denied.
Referrers - Here you can control where your player can be displayed. This enables you to prevent other people from embedding your channel in their own website. Add your domain here, and all others will be denied.

This is where you select the player you want to use with your live channel. These can be created and edited in your Asset Library under Players. All accounts come with a default player, if this is your first campaign you can use this for now and change it later. Learn more about Players.
This is where you obtain the embed code needed to place your live channel on your website.
Publish on webpage: This refers to the Webpages in your Asset Library. These are generally used by those who do not have their own website and for previewing your campaign within your account - for this reason you must select a template to proceed. If you are familiar with HTML you can edit your templates to suit your brand.
Get Script: This is the JScript for embedding your player. It is the more technical way of adding streams to your website, but it is also more robust. The script tags should be placed in the <head> of your website and the embed code in the <body> where you would like the player to appear.
Get Iframe: This is a more simple and flexible option for adding your player to your website (and other places that allow HTML input). It is a good option if you're new to code or have limited access to the design of your website. Just copy and paste the code into where you would like the video to appear.
IMPORTANT: You should only ever embed the Script or the Iframe, not both.
IMPORTANT - This step must be completed in order to set your channel live, if you don't some aspects of your channel may not work.
When you're happy with your setup, just click the big 'Publish My Channel' button.
When you're ready to go live, remember to start your stream on your encoder and preview your channel in your account.
